3YO "I'm not a DUDE!"
2YO "Move Dude"
3YO "I'm not a DUDE...I'm your friend!"

So do I conclude from this exchange that friends don't have to move but DUDEs do??
No, I'm guessing friends have to move too - but our 3-year-old is very sensitive about the way things are said. In this case, I'm sure he doesn't want to be the guy driving in front of mommy who is being told "c'mon, move dude." (It's painful how often these things come back to me!)
