"Mom, do you think those are horse poops?"

A comment I heard from my son (3) while he was eating his lunch. Curious, I went to see what he was talking about and saw him pointing to his plate. My train of thought...

1. "Of course it's not horse poop!" But I had to see what he was pointing at. It was a drawing of a cactus on his western plate.

2. "Does he actually think I would serve him lunch on a picture of horse poop?"

3. "He's three - was he hoping it WAS horse poop??" I didn't ask!

Welcome to the blogosphere, my friend! I'm gonna blogroll you! :)

By the way, I LOVE the picture for your profile!

LOL Lores! - Thanks for the welcome - and the blogroll (I'm honored) :) Glad you like the profile photo. I have one of me and the boys looking at the camera...but I thought the one of us trying to get to that position was a little more entertaining (and life-like!)

Now that I've started this, I hope the boys don't cut off my source of funnies!

Thanks for your encouragement...and for drawing me into the blogosphere!

Funny! I laughed out loud sitting in the library over this one. The hammer thing is pretty funny, too. And all the photos are adorable.

Hammers, horse poop and ice cream - isn't the mind of a 3 year old wonderful?

Jnell - enjoyed that you laughed out loud. There's a lot of that around here! Now that I've started the blog, I'm hoping the boys don't suddenly hold back on the material!
