Today my almost-four-year-old son excitedly called me over to "see the picture I drew of you!!" Granted I have been dealing with kids that are sick and whiney all day - but will somebody please let me know if it's really this bad??!!
This isn't my son's first artistic rendering of me, just the most "eye-catching."

I think the latest rendition reflects the fact that almost-four-year-old's Mom has given up coffee for lent.
Papa bypassed the question of looks and noticed with pride that his grandson had drawn freehand an almost perfect circle. Not an easy feat for any artist!
That is a pretty good circle isn't it!!! And contrary to Layman's comment, our son DID draw a SMILE on my face - though the eye placement does leave the "state of mind" of the subject open for discussion!
Looks fantastic except for the fact that you are obviously beating a child with a stick!
Liesl...interesting theory, though I'm not sure how I could make contact considering the positioning of my eyes...looks to me like I'd be seeing double (if anything) of everything :)
Speaking to the state of mind, I would assume eyes upward means you are praying, "HELP!" Given the situation, I would think that appropriate.
Now, about that hair...
Yes, Jay - you must be right...I must be praying (at least I'd like to think that is the case rather than what Liesl sees in the picture). The hair on the otherhand, has there ever been a better example of a bad hair day??!!!
