When we brought Brawny Baby home from the hospital, I was introduced to my "stand-in" created by our 3 1/2 year-old. He affectionately referred to her as "Tinkertoy Mommy."
I wonder if I should be flattered or offended?

Have you figured out yet if you are flattered or offended by your temporary replacement? At least you can be proud he is so creative. Did he think that up by himself or did someone suggest it to him?
Jay - sorry it took so long to reply - we've been playing at Grandma & Grandpa's house.
I think I'm flattered that he thought I needed a stand-in. And nope - no one suggested it - he came up with it all by himself. (He did have help threading the lips).
